	Spaces Automatically tag every room in a drawing, complete with room areas. Spaces update automatically if the bounding elements are changed, saving you time and making documentation more accurate. Space definitions can include offsets from bounding elements based on preset or user-defined rules, enabling area calculations that reflect a variety of industry standards, including BOMA, DIN, and SIS.
	Display Themes Creating a color-fill plan, complete with Legends has been made easier. Once your floor plan has been populated with space information, predefined Display Themes can be used to create color-fills that report space type or area ranges. Since Display Themes reflect the current state of design, making a modification, such as widening a room, will automatically update what is being displayed. This helps provide improved productivity during the design process by automating a common, yet often cumbersome, architectural task.
	Scheduling Customize the appearance of out-of-the-box schedule styles more easily to meet your company’s standards, or create new schedules from scratch, complete with your required calculations. Schedules are linked directly to your designs, so you can update them with the click of a button to reflect any design changes.
	Grips The intuitive grips function is one of several AutoCAD Architecture tools which help boost productivity. The grips function is available for use as your designs go through the iteration process. This tool can be utilized to make graphic changes, such as changing a door’s swing, moving walls, or adjusting dimension strings, on the fly, and without the use of dialog boxes.
	Sections and Elevations Generate 2D sections and elevations with material hatching, directly from your floor plans. If your design changes, fully updated section and elevation graphics are generated, maintaining layer, color, linetype, and other properties.
	Walls, Doors, and Windows Draw and document typical architectural objects such as walls, doors, and windows that mimic real-world counterparts. Modify walls and their endcap conditions on a component level for improved handling of common wall conditions, such as angled, cornered, or intersecting fire-rated walls. Automatically insert and place doors or windows with complete placement control. Move any wall, and all connected walls and spaces automatically update. Use familiar AutoCAD commands such as Fillet and Chamfer on flexible wall components.
