Graitec acquires Integer Software

18 June 2008

Graitec, international developers of analysis software for the construction industry have acquired Integer Software, developers of the market leading structural analysis software SuperSTRESS.

The Graitec group, who have offices in 8 countries, has a clear strategy to provide its UK clients with a complete software suite from structural analysis/design to steel/concrete detailing. The move will enable Graitec to integrate Integer’s structural analysis solution into its detailing tools.

Graitec made the acquisition earlier this year through Adris Computing Concepts, their UK subsidiary. Rob Goddard, Managing Director of Adris commented “There are clear synergies between the companies and the move will enable us to provide an increased portfolio of technical offerings and customer services”.

Adris Computing Concepts will remain as a separate entity and will retain their focus on both the construction and mechanical industry – providing complete CAD packaged solutions with networks, hardware and customisation as required. The acquisition will provide Adris and Integer the ability to offer the complete range of software and services to customers of both companies.

Integer is predominately focused on modelling, analysis, design and detailing for engineers in bridge and structural projects. In addition, Integer offers a complete maintenance and development service to its clients. There will be a continued investment into Integer’s software and the team based in Weybridge. Integer will retain the focus that they have on the construction industry and the eagerly awaited SuperSUITE 7 is due to be released in a few weeks.

SuperSUITE is the collection of structural engineering software that shares the same user friendly, powerful graphical interface. SuperSUITE features a core frame analysis programme SuperSTRESS with modules available for steelwork, reinforced concrete and highway loading.
